The ride begins along peaceful levada paths, offering a smooth and immersive experience through the island’s countryside. From Santo da Serra, the route continues along a regional road toward the Portela viewpoint, where you can enjoy wide views over Madeira’s dramatic terrain.
Along the way, you’ll cycle through eucalyptus forests and the unique Laurissilva, known for its rich biodiversity and endemic vegetation.
The tour then returns to the starting point, creating a well-balanced route that combines nature, elevation, and scenic viewpoints into a rewarding riding experience.
